Home sales still weak foundation

Continuing the exchange-rate tensions at home sales took a hit Monday in the hope of Wisconsin report on how the February sales fell. Sales are still down, and prices are even lower than a year ago, Wisconsin Realtors Association. Although the Group points out that last year, buyers were Rushing to get federal tax rebate.

But how does a widespread, the invoice is still rare, despite the close combination of numbers will appear closer to the record low rates, and historically low mortgage rates.

Statewide, the sales were less than 150 last February (2,640 vs. 2,793), a 5.5% drop. The drop was even stronger in our area-7,5% of sales of less than 50 years ago (569 vs. 611) just five countries-Marinette-Oconto, Langlade, Waupaca, Waushara, and is displayed in the sales pitch with State-of-the-art. All the rest were down.

The median price for, say, half were higher, lower, fell by 13% to $ 117,000. In our region from the drop-down to the $ 111,450 was 7.9%.

But only three districts-Marinette and Langlade, plus door County--showed price increases-in-20% of all the major plus, but not enough to overcome the wide range of 14 other counties, was the price falls.

Now the question is whether the unemployment drops enough to spike's confidence before the home mortgage rates, as well as the flight home purchases and prices.
