In KENOSHA-memories are all that is left of one of the finest High school, Tremper.
Many are remembering Craig Birkholz stand out as wanted. In his yearbook picture, see tuxedo says it all.
"He brought energy and enthusiasm is really something that really took a lot of people consider is, Tremper," said John Matera, High School Athletic Director.
Matera was relatively new to the teacher when Birkholz began high school, and remember to take him to the accounting class.
Birkholz: n drive and determination are just some of the features that made him stand out.
"And he had the ability to interact with others, that often times the students in high school at an early stage, he was not only about the great person of all" Matera said.
Birkholz wore Royal Blue and scarlet proudly. The captain of the Wrestling Team, the head of the future leaders of business, as well as to the United States of America, and he was also a violin.
"He had in his mind he wanted to do in his entire life on the set and one of his priorities, it was clear that he wanted to influence the people in a positive way," said Matera.
He made two trips to the serving Army specialist in Iraq and Afghanistan, part of Operation Enduring Freedom, and later the Fond du Lac police.
But to serve his community on the one hand, and one on Sunday morning, he paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Although the Tremper High School mourns tragic loss, they will try to show the bright side – like Craig had.
"But they remember the essence of him, in the same way as when he was here in a very positive person, with a focus on other people and was very focused on serving other than" Matera said.
