Now works to support art education

For decades the United Performing Arts Fund, supported by the arts groups are offered in arts education and the integration of southeastern Wisconsin, class rooms, providing resources, compatible with the support of arts education in schools and to help the more than 400,000 children learn to express themselves and more different.


Art education is the measurable impact on children, to improve academic performance, creative and critical thinking skills, as well as the discipline and focus. Studies have shown dramatic results in learning, as well as the arts, and other academic and social areas, when the students have had long term exposure to the arts, integrated arts curricula or programs outside their schools for admission.


Such as the Journal Sentinel reported on May 16, Milwaukee schools expected to cut the 48 full-time art and music teachers. Net earnings by reducing budgets and curriculum standards and the statistical results of the close of the education system with a sharp saw the arts education resources throughout the country, as well as the entire southeastern Wisconsin schools.


As we face the challenges of the massive impact of the training, the art is only going to deteriorate. Now is the time to act.


Our region is UPAF to democracy, the umbrella organization that supports the arts through the Southeastern group of 34 annual fundraising campaign, its impact on the funding of the Wisconsin works of art education. Noted for women, established under the auspices of a unique initiative, UPAF launched in 2011, the increasing need for creativity and innovative education in our community.


The children must continue to have the opportunity to explore their full potential to think creatively and to become a strong citizens. All companies must compete on the labour force in the creative and innovative, the fast pace of the global economy.


Noted the initiative of the members of the women to develop targeted fundraising initiatives to engage existing and new participants who appreciate the art education in the development of our future impact. Today, the art of investing in our community in the field of education and training of workers to take advantage of the creative development of our next generation benefits.
