The White House welcomed the move by President Barack Obama, national security adviser, Tom Donilon, saying it was "a historic milestone that confirms the general consensus and alarm systems for human rights in Iran's dark state."

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Secretary William Hague said the decline was "unacceptable" human rights in Iran, and the new law, with the exception of the investigator can provide encouragement to the many Iranians "who continue to COURAGEOUSLY speak about their BOLD and other rights."

The Hague, said the Iranian authorities after the 2009 elections "have systematically sought to silence any dissenting voices and harassing human rights activists, lawyers, journalists, and the last opposition leader (Mir Hossein) via Mousavi and Karroubi (the Mahdi)."

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of resistance of Iran, said he hopes the new investigator brings light "human rights violations in Iran the true dimensions" and lead to the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential to the Security Council sanctions.

However, the opposition leader Mousavi and Karroubi has dropped out of sight — and their supporters say they are being detained along with their wives, the Government denies the charge.

Thursday's vote came after the diplomats and observers said the legitimacy of the Council received fresh last month, when it voted for the first time to ostracize Libya — one of its members — its people abuse the system. Iran, on the other hand, is not a member.

Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, United States representative to the Council, said in a new and independent researcher — said to be appointed by the Special Rapporteur could assist the Council known — how to respond to the Secretary General of the mentioned image Ban Ki-moon's report on the Iran last September.
