The Wisconsin Badger is the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College football program. The Badgers compete in the NCAA football Bowl Subdivision and is a member of the big ten Conference. Their home games are played in the Camp Randall Stadium. You have a win loss tie record of 575-451-53 and winning percentage of 53%. The name of the team is a reference to Wisconsin state history. At some point prospectors in Wisconsin came the early turns lead minerals, especially to search. The nationals schools are also members of the Committee on institutional cooperation, a consortium of education. Despite the named big 10, there are 11 members, with the Pennsylvania State University joined in 1990. The large 10-Center is located in La Porte County, Indiana.
Various incarnations of Badgers
Over the years, various forms of the Badgers have represented the team as the school mascot. The current mascot is Bucky, wear the team's colors of Cardinal and white sweaters in a letter. This mascot was drawn by the artist of art Evans first in 1940. The Badger mascot factory went by many names such as buddy, Benny, Bobby, Bernie and Bouncey. It was kind of Lentz, then Advertising Director for the Athletic Department, which brought the mascot to life. The mascot of Badger Yesteryears became known as a rowdy and out-of-control since it was a real live Badger! The Badger, it was announced that run amok and frighten fans and players alike. For everyone's safety was decided, in the Madison Zoo was better Badger and are not in school or in football games. The roof was then a Tamer but no roof, aptly named Regdab replaced small raccoons (the Badger backward written) as a Badger was a raccoon coat. In 1949, a student of art at the University, molded parts made of papier-mâché Badger head made Connie Conrad,. The outfit was a cheerleader and Turner, Bill Sagal, during a homecoming game.
